Recently at ModnyCo, we completed a challenging yet rewarding project, designing custom PCBs for various internal panels of a car, such as the dashboard, steering wheel buttons, and door panels. Each PCB, uniquely shaped to fit the car's interior design, was powered by a Microchip PIC microcontroller, ensuring reliability and functionality.

Our focus was on creating an intuitive user interface, outfitting each board with push buttons, rotary switches, and adjustable-brightness LEDs, controlled by advanced current driving units. This design choice not only enhanced the user experience but also added a visual appeal to the car's interior.

A critical aspect of our design was integrating a CAN bus system, allowing seamless communication between the PCBs and the car's Electronic Central Unit (ECU). This integration was vital for ensuring that the internal panels operated in sync with the vehicle's electronics.
Power management was another key focus. We implemented sophisticated systems to efficiently regulate supply voltage while minimizing heat and EMI emissions, crucial for the safety and functionality of the car's electronics.

Lastly, we ensured that all components used were AEC-compliant, meeting the automotive industry's stringent standards for reliability and durability. This project not only highlighted ModnyCo's expertise in automotive electronics but also our commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant, and user-friendly electronic solutions.
