ModnyCo was approached by a client for a straightforward yet crucial project: to develop test software for evaluating the life expectancy of a motorized mechanical assembly. The core objective was to rigorously test the assembly's durability and reliability over an extended period.
Our task was to create software that could not only control but also meticulously record the operation of the assembly. The software was programmed to move the device continuously, keeping a precise record of its position with each cycle. This repetitive process was key to simulating extended usage conditions.
We set a target of 25 thousand cycles for the experiment, a number deemed sufficient to assess the assembly's endurance. Once this milestone was reached, our team delved into the data. The analysis was comprehensive, focusing on whether and how the performance of the mechanical assembly had changed over the course of the cycles.
